Joining the worlds of art and luxury design with business aviation is the goal of a new alliance between TAG Aviation Europe and the renowned University of Art and Design Lausanne (ECAL). The partnership has already had ECAL Master of Advanced Luxury & Design students, who worked with French designer Ronan Bouroullec, create corporate gifts for TAG. Examples will be on display at TAG’s EBACE Stand 651 between 12 – 14 May.
Other design projects will follow, with TAG to produce selected concepts each year during the long-term partnership. It will continue to allow ECAL students to see their creative work become a reality and offer TAG a unique, creative way to position its brand. Projects may include aircraft cabin designs and TAG passenger lounge areas.
Yves Kohler, TAG Europe’s Vice President of Marketing and Customer Services, and Adeline Varéon, Marketing-Communications Manager for TAG, are responsible for the programme with ECAL. The prestigious school previously has created designs for global brands Swarovski crystal, Bernardaud, Nespresso and Hublot watches.
