TAG Aviation (UK) Ltd is pleased to announce the launch of the TAG Aviation Flight Crew Training (TAFT) facility which will be based at Farnborough Airport, Farnborough, Hants.

With a reputation for excellence in Safety, Security, Service and Quality, TAG Aviation now offer a “One-Stop” service encompassing excellence in flight crew training which is JAR OPS and DFT compliant, giving clients full service and training support from beginning to end.

The training facility can accommodate up to 20 students and will be spearheaded by Malcolm Rusby who has a reputation for superior flight crew training to the highest standard. Amongst the many courses available are:

• Fire Emergency training for flight deck and cabin crew covering technical and practical sessions and including 7 aviation fire scenarios by using our purpose built training unit and the smoke hoods used on most aircraft.

• Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM)
• Minimum Navigation Performance Specifications (MNPS)

• First Aid at work – Health and Safety Executive (HSE) accredited workplace First Aid training, with refresher and appointed-Person courses.
• Emergency first Aid – general emergency First Aid training.
• Defibrillation – training for emergency use of cardiac defibrillators.
• Manual Handling – for employer compliance with 2002 UK Manual Handling operations Regulations.
• Fire Awareness – training for compliance with the UK 2006 Regulatory Reform Fire Safety order.
• Building Incident Officer units are available.

FlightSafety International Pilot Training

TAG Farnborough is also home to the new European Training Center of FlightSafety International - a major investment in Farnborough by FSI, and its largest pilot training school outside the USA.

Opened in 2005, the 92,000 square-foot center will accommodate 15 full flight simulators for business jets, regional aircraft and helicopters, plus interactive classrooms, high-tech training devices, pilot briefing rooms and customer-service facilities.
