Safety & Compliance Coordinator and Auditor

We are always looking for talent based in Malta


Reporting to the Head of Compliance and Safety, the successful candidate will ensure that the organisation and aircraft it manages remain compliant with Operations, Continuing Airworthiness, Safety and Security requirements. This role is based in Malta and will require close liaison with other staff members within the department and organisation, as well as some flexibility in working hours and participation in a coverage rotation. This position has potential development and training opportunities for the successful candidate looking to progress their career within the department.



  • Support the Safety & Compliance Manager in all Compliance Monitoring & Safety functions;
  • Support the Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) in ensuring that the compliance monitoring programme is properly implemented, maintained and continually reviewed and improved;
  • Promote the Company’s Management System including the safety policy;
  • Assist the Compliance & Safety department in maintaining a close liaison with the relevant
  • Competent Authorities;
  • Undertake audits and inspections;
  • Support the CMM in ensuring that all compliance monitoring department audits and inspections are documented, including the recording of non-compliances / observations and that these are reported to the relevant responsible manager;
  • Support the CMM in ensuring effective remedial action is taken in response to non-compliances / observations;
  • In conjunction with the team, carry out trend analysis on data collected from compliance & safety related functions;
  • Identify safety hazards and undertake risk assessments when necessary;
  • Conduct internal training related to compliance and safety as required;
  • Ensure close liaison and coordination with the other TAG AOCs Compliance & Safety managers, including attending regular combined meetings;
  • Support the CMM in monitoring that all contracted maintenance is carried out in accordance with the respective contract;
  • Support the CMM in verifying that the company is operating in accordance with the applicable EASA and other applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Support safety investigations.


  • 3 years of relevant work experience within the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position;
  • Experience in Management Systems including Auditing is desirable;
  • A relevant engineering degree or an aircraft qualification such as EASA Part 66 license/ATPL is desirable;
  • Proficient in the use of computer systems and willing to learn to use digital processes and company used software;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels;
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
  • A good understanding of EASA regulations including Part 145, Part M/CAMO, Air Ops (Part CAT & NCC), SMS regulations, UK and IOM regulations is desirable.
