TAG Macau FBO achieves IS-BAH Stage 2 certification

  • TAG Macau FBO achieves IS-BAH Stage 2 certification

Just a little over one year after opening its doors, TAG Aviation Macau’s Fixed Base Operation (FBO) has been awarded for its commitment to safety and quality ground handling by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) with the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) Stage 2 certificate of registration. This achievement confirms TAG Macau FBO’s adherence to the very highest safety standards within the industry and illustrates its continued efforts to bring unrivalled hospitality and service to the FBO landscape.

The IS-BAH standard, which focuses on the refuelling, ground handling, and storing of general aviation aircraft, is a set of global industry best practices in safety management and risk mitigation for business aviation ground handlers.

The accreditation process involves a complete audit of the FBO’s safety management systems, emergency and security procedures, organisational structure, training protocols, and operating procedures. Certificates of registration are issued by IBAC to FBOs that have successfully demonstrated conformity to the industry’s best practices through completion of a Third Party external audit by an IBAC accredited auditor.

Rita Tam, General Manager of TAG Macau FBO, is extremely pleased, “It’s definitely not easy to get this ISBAH Stage 2 certification during this difficult time. Without the entire TAG team, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this accreditation almost a year ahead of schedule.  I am proud to see the effort and spirit that everybody has put in around the clock during this audit period. TAG Macau FBO is ready to welcome all visitors travelling to this fascinating city.  We are here 24/7 to provide excellence FBO service to all.”
