The Crewing Officer plans and executes the flight crew requirements for all flights ensuring this is done in accordance with all the relevant regulations and safety requirements. The Crewing Team are the primary source of scheduling for the flight crews as well as the primary provider of daily crewing information to the flight crew. The Crewing Officer combines the need for crew training and FTL’s with the normal operational schedule and interfaces with the CAM, Ground Operations, CSR team and Crew training department. This role includes, organizing and arranging necessary documentation and services for the crew, effective communication with crew and other departments and monitoring compliance with regulatory and company operational standards.




  • Maintain crew schedule for 200 crew members and 37 aircraft.
  • Collect, accurately record and verify all crew duty data
  • Control of Company essential documents
  • React promptly to resolve any crewing issues as and when they arise finding a workable solution
  • Ensure CAM has submitted the aircraft roster within the correct timeframe, checking for any legality issues
  • Enter the roster into FOS
  • Crew all flights in the most efficient, safe and legal way
  • Effectively react to changing operational scenarios using limited crew resources
  • Assign unscheduled crew duties in accordance with the company flight and duty limitations
  • Implement Company scheduling agreements and FTL variations
  • Ensure crew duty assignments are in accordance with FTL regulations and variations as approved by the Regulatory Authority
  • Managing flight crew leave allocation and training in conjunction with CAM and Crew Training department to ensure an efficient flying programme
  • Forecast crew requirement based on additions or changes to the daily flying programme
  • Assuring that flight crew members are certified, qualified, trained and meet currency requirements in accordance with the relevant regulations and Company SOPs.
  • Assist Senior Crewing Officer with aircraft RFD/FTL audits on a monthly basis
  • Main point of contact for all travel queries
  • Liaise with TAG Global Training, Flight Operations, Crew Training and H.R. for any ad-hoc travel requests
  • Responsible for maintaining the company Airline Loyalty schemes
  • Investigate any complaints or queries and respond in a timely and informative manner
  • Facilitate crew visa applications
  • Provide a daily written and verbal handover
  • Other duties as required by the Senior Crewing Officer
  • Ensuring Company SOP compliance, safety and SPIRIT values are always adhered to
