Senior Technical Services Engineer

Dynamic, agile, multi tasking, enjoys a challenge, does this sound like you? . If so please read on..... We are progressive department with a range of age and experience dealing with all aspects related to CAMO and Technical Services. 

Reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager, this role deals with all aspects of airworthiness functions in support of the TAG Aviation operation. Associated tasks include those listed below for which the role will be expected to hold company approvals and develop understanding and capabilities across the department in support of other roles.

The role will require the person to be extremely adept and capable of easily demonstrating task competency. The person will be able to demonstrate a high degree of experience and capability when asked to lead others or train colleagues.

 

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:

  • Maintain company procedures IAW regulatory and company requirements.
  • Track and assess compliance with AD’s/SB’s.
  • Development, review, revision, and control of all Aircraft Maintenance Programmes.
  • Ensure all AD and STC requirements have been captured and all ICA’s incorporated into the programme along with verification of the latest OEM documentation.
  • Produce applicable reliability programmes to determine effectiveness of Maintenance Programme.
  • Review, process and approve variations to aircraft maintenance programmes.
  • Ongoing development and improvement of reliability Programme including co-ordination of involvement with the regulatory authority.
  • Monitoring tracking system to ensure consistent with Maintenance Programme requirements and manage new requirements
  • Administration of maintenance tracking and other business software.
  • Compilation and review of Technical Procedures associated with airworthiness activities.
  • Support development of Information Technology Projects for the Technical Department.
  • Supervise and work together with team members as required.
  • Generate and understand a due list and communicate any emergent out of phase requirements.
  • Reliability reports and analyse aircraft reliability.
  • Conduct ARC’s/ACAM’s and C of A presentation
  • Apply for and process requirements for flight permits, check flights, RIE’s and Task variations.
  • Undertake Technical document assessment and inbound logbook review to a high degree of technical ability.
  • Undertake Processing of Work packs and verification of the tracking system.
  • Verify and check the development of the MEL and author as necessary.
  • Auditing department processes and supplier processes.
  • Track and administer aircraft flight logs and update aircraft log books as required.
  • Oversight of the initiation and fulfillment of the Purchase order/Work order process
  • Be instrumental and active in the support the proactive closure of audit findings and implementation of root cause fixes.

 

Further requirements for the role:

Essential

Qualifications:

  • Aircraft Engineer Licenses or a technical Aviation Degree
  • Attended Corporate Jet General Familiarisation Courses

Experience:

  • Previously held similar positions in Continuing Airworthiness Organisations for minimum 3 years
  • Extensive experience dealing with OEMs on in-depth Technical issues
  • Experience of Aircraft take on duties regarding Approved Maintenance Programs
  • Dealt with non-UK and UK Regulatory authorities
  • Training or good understanding of MSG-3 Logic
  • Capable of managing a multiple quantity of AMPs (revision control, distribution)
